OSU cheats like everyone else...but they really suck at that too obviously.

Making Tressel the scapegoat is just about par for the course for the NCAA.

Avoid the SEC in a game that counts and you guys will be fine!

Do LSU fans really have reason to talk when you have your own players getting arrested for assault? Spare me!

There is a VERY huge discrepency in the response to the respective incidents by the respective institutions and representatives.

LSU did everything right. tOSU, via Tressel, lied/cover-up/play players in bowl/players quit and go pro........Not at all the same in any meaningful way.

Add to that the LSU incident is NOT AN NCAA INFRACTION and you absolutely seem to be grasping at straws. Good luck, I would just as soon beat you on the field at full strength and not have the NCAA get involved.

You're just now noticing this? It has been pathetic for decades. If an SEC team still under repeat violator status (like tOSU was still under from the basketball sanctions when the football violations started) was caught doing what tOSU administrators were doing they'd be sweating out a potential death penalty. If an SEC president and AD were as arrogant as Gee and Smith have been regarding this NCAA case then the NCAA couldn't wait to make an example out of them. The double standard has long been a frickin joke but the NCAA slaps them on the wrist and allows tOSU fans to continue lecturing everyone on their message boards about the evil and unethical practices that SEC teams are engaged in.

You keep saying this, but there is absolutely no proof that Auburn did anything wrong.

For all the haters hating. This about MOTHEREFFING tattoos, something as petty as tattoos in big time collee athletes is the least of any big cheating scandals. Every big time program cheats , and cheats far beyond tats. This is not a pay for play problem and this isn't an conspiracy to cover up through TE entire admin. Deal with Ohio state coming back stronger than ever

TBF, its not just about tattoos...Tressel lied about it. That is the most major part in all of the violations.

Since when has the NCAA needed 100% proof?

They are not the law.

It is just pretty evident about what really happened, and nothing is coming from it. That just irks me, especially when people come on here and talk about how the NCAA is coddling the Big Ten.

I definitely cannot say that they don't favor the Big Ten, but for SEC fans to be saying that the SEC doesn't get fair treatment is a joke to me.

Obviously I am in the wrong place to be trying to convince people other wise.

You don't need to be very smart to realize that is Cam's dad was shopping Cam to MSU for 180 grand, you can be damn sure that he was shopping him to Auburn as well.

I know man. pisses me off too. I hate Auburn way more than OSU. But in the end, there was nothing that even pointed in the direction of anything going on at AU that was against the rules.

This. And this will rightly affect his legacy. All in all the underlying infractions ar "minor" but the esponse to them was unacceptable and will cause the NCAA to react.

What about multiple testimonies from previous players saying otherwise? Saying that they got paid.

All completely ignored.

How dare we be upset that OSU doesn't have to play within the same rules as everyone else.

So if we do get a bowl ban, do you think it would be this year or next year?

And do you even think it will be a bowl ban, knowing that OSU has been invited to one and is currently practicing for it?
