i don't know why everyone is celebrating OSU

Because they return the core of a team that made the national championship last year, headlined by the best RB in the country. USC beat one of the worst teams in college football. USC has a relatively weak offensive line and group of WRs, and if OSU can make them somewhat one demensional, then I don't have much faith in the RBs or Sanchez.

beating nobody worth a shite along the way

they have 1 legit talent on offense and either shite (boeckman) or mediocre talent (hartline, robiskie)

i dunno. they were a bowl team last year

inexperienced? yes

they haven't proven that they're weak yet

their WRs are talented, but haven't lived up to it. they looked legit last week

as opposed to a 1-dimensional team whose 1-dimension is hurt?

They won the games they were given. USC didn't play anyone impressive outside of Oregon last year (ASU had no defense, Cal was .500)

And WVU blew out someone in a BCS bowl last year, yet they didn't score a single offensive point against, as you would put it, overrated ECU.

Virginia is the exact opposite of a test. They're like an open book one question quiz.

their WRs are talented, but haven't lived up to it. they looked legit last week

Talent doesn't mean shite if it isn't developed, and Patrick Turner/Vidal Hazelton haven't done anything yet. Turner is one of the biggest recruiting busts in recent memory. For the last time, Virginia is an awful team.

In a world where experience matters, Ohio State's offensive line and QB have more than USC's.

so did hawaii

and this is a different team. OSU is the same team for the most part

different offense = different team

yeah experience against a conference that loves soft zone coverage

they shite their pants when they go up against good pressure packages

hell ohio got pressure on boeckman and he SUCKED last year

sucking and getting experience doesn't really mean a whole hell of a lot to me. boeckman sucks

This is just knee jerk reaction to a public looking for flaws and a public with short memories.

I thought Miami was going to kil Tosu in the title game because Tosu looked like crap all year and barely beat every team they played...including the the non-conference crap teams like Cincinnati.

Well, it turned out Tosu had talent and speed to beat Miami.

Tosu was sandbagging it to some degree. They obviously didn't want to show USC anything.

But Ohio State would have killed Hawaii, so your point is ridiculous.

This is so stupid on your part. A team that made the MNC returns basically everyone, is the most NFL ready team in CFB, and it's a bad thing. Wow.

different offense = different team

Apparently not to you, since you voted them #1. The fact that you praise them as #1 only a few days ago, then start downgrading them proves that all you do is flip flop for the sake of argument. You probably don't believe half the shite you say on this site.

More productive in shorter careers.

He'll outperform Sanchez.

their QB is shite. their WRs are mediocre

their D can't handle offenses that go outside the box

their OL is built for run-blocking and little else

their coaching staff doesn't change gameplans

they only made the title game last year b/c the big10 fricking sucked a-hole

quote:

Apparently not to you, since you voted them #1.

that was before i knew they went from a spread option to spread team

they dropped to 7 or 8 after week 1

before any games were played, almost 2 weeks ago

you can't judge teams until you have information

a team like WV changed a good bit

OSU didn't change, both in personnel and coaching-wise. we have a lot of info on OSU already

why wouldn't i move WV down after week 1? they didnt' look like the #1 team

just like why USC moved up to #1. they looked like the best team last week

quote:

More productive in shorter careers.

not THAT much more productive. 1500-1000 (esp when you consider USC's #1 target being a TE last year)

USCs guys have a lot more talent also

quote:

He'll outperform Sanchez.

he threw for like 2,000 yards last year in the shit10. he threw for 100 today. you wanna bet?

per game, sanchez will be > than boeckman

I didn't read any of that, because it's just a typical SFP know it all response. I don't think I've ever seen you just say "ok" or "we'll see" to someone. You always have to rattle off these pointless arguments or comparisons that don't really do anything other than state your original point, just with a few different words and numbers.

Boeckman will outperform Sanchez next Saturday, and OSU will beat USC. If they don't, I'll just flip flop and say I didn't know what they were going to run.

You didn't know that WVU was going to choke at some point in the season?

Didn't see Boeckman run the pistol formation today? I only saw it a few times but its another wrinkle they can do.

it's not really a wrinkle when you just run the same running plays out of it

Two weeks ago I was confident...OSU is in trouble now I think.

A) I want a medal of honor for the restraint I have shown since the Ohio game. Your welcome.

B) Two of the most recent arguments I made were the pedestrian passing game and challenging this concept of 'good depth' at RB. Sorry, one touchdown drive over 26 yards... barely a buck passing.... welcome to my world (otherwise known as reality).

Doubt they will get moved, but there is no way they should hold their ranking (Okie should jump)

I was a lot more concerned about tOSU before their meet-up with Solich's Bobcats.

I know tOSU was looking ahead, I know Tressel was keeping Beanie under wraps, and his "USC Playbook" close to his sweater-vest.

It doesn't matter. After seeing what we've got and seeing what they've got, I like our chances against the Buckeyes.

No disrespect to them at all, but I don't think we lose that game.

As far as our WR's go, LSU=AWESOME will get to know Damien Williams, Ronald Johnson, and a few others. We go to the FB, Stanley Havili, out of the backfield quite a bit as well as hitting McCoy and Ayles (TE's).

Then there's some kid named McKnight that's s'posed to be pretty good getting YAC out of the backfield.

I look at it this way... SEC teams have completely dominated Ohio State...USC is definitely equivalent in talent to the best the SEC has to offer...OSU is fricked
