Great. He also banged the drum for one coach to get fired while turning the other way when his buddies, Calipari and Krzyzewski, broke rules routinely. Have also heard stories of him just being a complete arse to common people.
I'm glad his health is better, but I'll pass on hopping on the bandwagon to grant him sainthood. And if I never heard him on a broadcast again, it would be too soon.

Has Vitale sent a single tweet about LSU basketball since Will Wade left?
Dude did his best to tear down a young, winning coach and when the media pressure became too much for a spineless AD the coach got canned.
And yet, Vitale who was so interested in LSU firing the coach, hasn’t said a peep about the program that is the worst in the SEC since the media got their pound of flesh. Calipari thankful that Vitale made his job a little easier.
Dude did his best to tear down a young, winning coach and when the media pressure became too much for a spineless AD the coach got canned.
