Right. Being an athlete precludes you from being a political activist, which is typically reserved for those who get degrees in political activism.

Why are we acting like this is a new found phenomenon? Whether you agree with their political stances or not, they are being vocal like athletes of the past. Kareem, Ali, Bill Russell, and Jim Brown are a few that come to mind.

Have you ever heard some of these tradesman talk like an electrician, plumber, welder, etc. Hell, a lot of them barely can put a sentence together, but they still charge you out of the arse and do very well in their respective lines of work.

Are the Warriors officially going as a team / staff on one day? I realize that most players and some coaches won't go, but I'm surprised that an invitation even exists from Trump.

Trump hasn't extended an invitation. The only reason its even a story right now is because Kevin Durant's recent comment that he wouldn't go if they got invited because he doesn't respect Trump.

I doubt he extends an invite to the Warriors. Steph Curry and Andre Iguodala have both said in the past they wouldn't go. Steve Kerr has been a huge Trump critic. It'll only backfire on Trump if he invites them because he'll either get embarrassed by the majority, if not entire team declining...or the Warriors using the media attention around the visit to criticize Trump more.

Eh, just be the bigger man and invite them like others have done in the past. If certain people don't want to show up that is their problem.

Well, it wasn't about what I think he will do. It is what I think he should do.
