Klay says he'll go because he honors the office. But first he has to finish this vacation in the Bahamas.

I really DGAF who goes to see the POTUS or not....kinda funny that it's en vogue to make the trip some kind of statement one way or the other. Was never intended as such.

Yeah it was meant to just be an honor to be invited by the leader of the free world to congratulate you on a job well done regardless of party affiliation

Exactly and now you have these uneducated, overpaid clowns trying to make statements which end up backfiring bc of how ignorant they are. Look at how Durant took a dump on India and people were all over him and then he followed it up with his trump comments and no White House visit. Kevin Durant if he weren't 7 foot tall would be flipping burgers for a living, he should thank god for his blessings and be honored to meet the president if the president even wants to meet him.

So, you automatically think that if he wasn't playing ball he would resort to being a very low wage worker? How do you know he wouldn't be a engineer, a teacher, a plumber, an electrician, a business owner, etc?

Are the Warriors officially going as a team / staff on one day? I realize that most players and some coaches won't go, but I'm surprised that an invitation even exists from Trump.

Have you heard the man talk? Let's just say he should be counting his blessings for being so tall and blessed with an amazing ability to bounce a ball and put it through a hoop so well.

I feel like he'd be doing better than flipping burgers. Maybe like a car technician or a teacher.

I think he's an avid photographer on the side. Not sure if he's any good, but usually guys with the drive to make it to that level of professional sport would have found another outlet for their focus.

Nah, dude is just tall and picked up a basketball ball. He is just really lucky, no effort was put forth.
