Can someone explain to me how the field dwindles to just 2 finalists? If you play one round a day and the loser is out, then the tournament would take more than 7 days.
Posted on 2/20/13 at 12:07 pm to Zach
they play two rounds on saturday
Posted on 2/20/13 at 12:09 pm to iheartlsu
Don't they play two on Sunday as well? Maybe not...play suspended due to conditions.

the final is 36 holes or was.

The format is a five-day, six-match tournament starting on a Wednesday. For the first four days (Wednesday through Saturday) a single round of matches are played, with the semi-finals, third-place match and final played on the Sunday. When the final was over 36 holes, the quarter-finals and semi-finals were both played on Saturday.

I'd keep playing. I don't think the heavy stuff will come down for quite awhile.
Posted on 2/20/13 at 12:17 pm to MyrtleBeachTiger
it's already heavy and is sticking to the ground
