There's bashing both ways, I also hate how people won't call Lee Westwood, Luke Donald, Rickie Fowler, ect legit until they win a major. It's not am easy thing to do and with the depth of the PGA it's gotten even harder

The bashing is on the people who say he is back after he wins events he won 5 times.

So, if he wins The Masters this year, you won't consider that a great achievement, right?

That argument is so flawed. You act like there aren't 125+ guys in the field who have played these events multiple times.

The Masters isnt even close to tourneys like the arnie invitational.

Really? I had no idea.

Just because Tiger is confident at Bay Hill, Torrey, Muirfield Village, etc doesn't mean he just gets to show up and win. I know you know this, so I'm not sure why you're arguing the point you're trying to make. There's no way a golf pro can actually believe that.

Tigers wins have come with nobodies at the top of the leaderboard. At courses where he loves. He needs to prove he can win with top names at the top and in the top 4 tourneys. Yes its hard to win, but nobody should say he is back until he does it in majors.

Maybe not back, but I think the past year and a half he's proven he's still the best or second best golfer in the world, depending on how much stock you put in Rory's struggles this year

· Woods and Sergio Garcia are two of the players tied for the lead, and it marks the first time on TOUR that Woods and Garcia have been tied atop the leaderboard at the conclusion of any round. The last time these two even finished in the top 5 at the conclusion of a first round was the 2007 Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Interesting tidbit.
