Where'd you stay? Shoulda hit me up.
At the gold coast casino and the grand downtown.
I should've mentioned on here I was going, my bad. Maybe you could've talked me out of Va tech and purdue. But oh well, that's a helluva town. Bourbon street on steroids.

You went all the way to Vegas to bet on Purdue and against Ohio State!?
Just messing with you. I made worse picks week 1.

I haven't stayed at the Grand but it looks nice. I live by the Gold Coast so I was there a couple hours ago locking in UGA at 20.5 and Boise at 2.5

Grand was great. Really nice rooftop pool with cabanas and beautiful drink girls.

I'm all over those two plays as well. I also took
La Tech -1
Arky -21
ND -10(bought a point)

My quick, random thoughts:
Who really wants lay 20+ with Penn State against anything? Apparently the public does..
Minnesota in a letdown spot, Louisville and ND in trap games.
Arky St is the sharp side against Mizzou but the Tigers have been so freaking good on the road under Pinkel that this feels like a square winner, like last year's Toledo game.
UCF Stanford is the opposite of a fun matchup. Stanford laying 19? Can they score 19? Can UCF score 1? Great questions, all of these. In an offensive cripple fight I'll probably take the 19 points.

Nice list, I'd add Minny as a possible letdown

I'm a beginner to intermediate level better. Wouldn't taking Tech ML pay more than taking them -1?

No. That's only if they're +

Personally, I don't consider BYU in letdown mode because of the quality of opponent this week, along with it being home opener.
I do consider Minnesota because even though they didn't win, they put everything into that game. It was the biggest home game they will play all season, they have to travel across the country, and box score bettors think they played better than they did.

Chasing steam is -EV long term. I like focus more on watching and learning why games get steamed...that way you can get ahead of any movement.

Locked in my Week 2 plays and ran my sheets. Will post my plays and sheets tomorrow.
But until tomorrow, here is a sneak preview play I made tonight:
UNLV +29.5

Having a hard time with picks this week. I loved LSU -2 but I dk about -4.5, plus I try not to bet on LSU.
Usually there are a few games that stand out to me but none this week right now

No shot Vandy & Virginia even make those into games. Both are severely overmatched whether a home game or not. Virginia is downright horrible and Vandy may win 2 games this yr. I don't see either team being able to keep up

Yeah, Vegas is known for giving out free money. I'm hoping in the next few years Congress allows tax-sheltered contributions to online accounts because my retirement savings is safer with Vegas than the current volatility in equities and near-zero return in bonds.
