Who really wants lay 20+ with Penn State against anything?
Raises hand. Not bc I like PSU or anything, but they have all of the intangibles on their side in this contest. Temple is also a legit defense with athletes. Buffalo... not so much.

Arky St is the sharp side against Mizzou but the Tigers have been so freaking good on the road under Pinkel that this feels like a square winner, like last year's Toledo game.
I love some Road Pinkel.

UCF Stanford is the opposite of a fun matchup. Stanford laying 19? Can they score 19? Can UCF score 1? Great questions, all of these. In an offensive cripple fight I'll probably take the 19 points.
I would lean Stanford for similar reasons to PSU - everyone is way down on them and this line would be 23-24 points a week ago. Stanford has the intangible edge. UCF on the longest possible road trip you can have to a pissed off team's home opener seems like a sucker bet to me.

only 2 plays so far for me
la tech -1 (Their offense should roll, just a much better team)
unlv +29.5 ( i will take my chances with a home dog at night)

It's also UNLV's home opener and they've sold more season tickets than ever before thanks to the Tony Sanchez optimism. It won't be like UCLA's traveling to Tiger Stadium but the fans should at least be into it like they haven't before.

No shot Vandy & Virginia even make those into games. Both are severely overmatched whether a home game or not. Virginia is downright horrible and Vandy may win 2 games this yr. I don't see either team being able to keep up
ND -13
UGA -20.5
This on Bovada right now. I think it'll be a good bet, but those big numbers scare me.
ETA: South Carolina -7.5 vs. Kentucky They have to cover right?

Yeah, Vegas is known for giving out free money. I'm hoping in the next few years Congress allows tax-sheltered contributions to online accounts because my retirement savings is safer with Vegas than the current volatility in equities and near-zero return in bonds.
They did for me week one. Is it far fetched for UGA to beat the shite out of Vandy? Believe me the pre-determined home team points won't matter in these games.

ND has moved a lot for a reason. My book had them at -11 yesterday and I bought a point down to -10. If you like to play movers then this is it. ND will roll

7-3 first week. Swapped a few positions on the Monday night game, came out about a unit up, but I won't count that.
Games I'll probably play this week:
Houston +13.5
Bowling Green +7.5
Tulane +28.5
Pitt -13
Cincy -6.5
Oregon/MSU OVER 67
UNLV +29
Still need to do some digging on other games.

Seeing a LOT of love for La Tech...bad opening line, but I'm staying away. I think the over looks tasty

Other than them being at home what could you possibly like about UVA? Honestly I'm curious

It's a terrible spot for ND, who is coming off a huge opening win against UT and travels to GA Tech next week.
