Kick off is around 1:30 central time.

Let's not get embarrassed.

Is Iniesta going to be in the lineup? US mid-field needs to be physical and limit the amount of chasing that Spain always makes the other team do.

If we can get through the first twenty minutes without surrendering a goal this match could get interesting.

Iniesta is out I believe. It all depends on our ability to contain Xavi and Fabregas and any ground crosses they attempt. In the air we'll have to rely on Gooch and Demerit to produce another insane effort.

I wish we had commentary like that. The Brits are more excited than JP and Harkes.

Good news

Maybe he'll move Bocanegra wide and take out Wynstein.

I HATE our commentators from ESPN. They are fricking terrible. When Univision is showing the same feed I tend to watch it - practice my spanish and hear great announcing.

I also wish that ESPN News HD would broadcast the same feed with pro-American announcers. I'd watch that over anything. If you're striving to have neutral announcers for all Yank matches than don't have an ex US player working the commentary. Have Europeans working the game.

ESPN's coverage of soccer just really sucks IMHO.

Running the middle today is Uruguayan referee Jorge Larrionda. Name sound familiar? Does 1-1 draw and three red cards in the World Cup ring a bell? Mr. Larrionda, officiated the USA's tie against Italy in which he issued four yellows and three red cards.

Not good news on this part. Probably won't get to be too physical with Villa and Torres.

I swear to God I just had a dream that Kenny Cooper and I were FBI agent, kind of like Bad Boys.

So who is the favorite to get a red for the US with that jackass on the field?

I'd assume Bradley. Larrionda doesn't even own a yellow card so it will be a straight red for MB at some point in the match.
