is anyone surprised gasol didn't show up?

After watchin the Lakers all season (especially the second half) I am not surprised when anyone doesn't show up. They have been more frustrating this year than the Saints.

Kobe was cold the first half...

Maybe it's just me, and the rocket fans will probably all tell me i'm wrong, but the Lakers need Kobe to come out in the first half passive to get the rest of the team rolling, then do as he did today and take over late in the game...problem is, he started out slow tonight, and never got them going early on so they were unable to support him in the second half.

gasol is notorious for folding in big games, he did in the finals last year.

Much needed win to start the series going up against the odds.

But I'm not surprised.

Are they going to be content with the split? Game 3 is going to decide the series IMO.

They will win game 2. Game 3 and 4 will be a dogfight however. The Lakers have lost all chances of winning this in 5. I just hope they can now do it in 6.

Better start worrying about winning it first

They haven't played with an intensity all season. Maybe when their backs are against the wall the will get their shite together, but after tonight I just don't see it happening. Thier bench, which was supposed to be the best in the NBA, has been a huge failure, and they get nothing out of their PGs.
