Wrong

Gotta admit, the weasel seemed pretty strong even though I have liked Nobilo since He was a Player.

LOL, calling me out on the rough comment. 3 tied 6 under and projecting the cut line at even. Told you they would torch this course…the rough is nothing to these guys, they will tear this course apart with the rain coming.

Before looking at scores look at stats. Of those players at -6 and -5 they led in strokes gained putting with 3-4. Of those only 2 hit less than 70% fairways. If you watched, when they hit it to the rough they normally missed green. The greens are rolling great and they arent as quick as they wanted. But you right baw.

Fairways are wider than norm too baw.

Ricky Fowler said the rough is thick but not long…they could play out of it.

The players were saying the PGA tried to protect the course with tough pin placements and the greens started to firm up with the heat and the sun. Also, Fyruk said the fairways are not rolling and the course is playing longer then he thought…but the players are still scoring low. Rain is coming, they will be pin seeking.

Rain will kill any chance of anything the pga could do. I just looked at Westwood. missed 4 fairways. Doubled one of them, bogeyed other, parred two hitting only 1 green. The greens were really firm and hitting 7+ into them werent stopping. Rain would allow them to stop 5 irons on them and -8 is in play. I hope they speed them up tom. Im guessing they were rolling about 11.5-12 today?

i think nobilo's point has some validity. if tiger stripes it on the range but can't bring it to the course, it has more to do with the fact that he hasn't practiced as much as he needs to to implement the swing changes. if it were a technical issue, he wouldn't hit it on the range like he does. I saw him on the range at the honda this year and dude was like a machine.

of course, the argument is that if the swing changes are ingrained by now, then they probably aren't natural to him and therefore he needs to go back to a more natural swing.

Much easier to hit it straight on range tho. You have your coach telling you what you did wrong from the previous swing. On the course it seems like one bad swing and he just loses it for the rest of the round due to not having a coach helping. Thats where Joe could be better.

Watching him on the range this morning he seemed square. I didn't see him aim 20 yds left on the range and try to hit a cut.

it's like he doesn't trust it. watched him hit a 2 yard draw with every club, even driver, on the range. got on the first tee and proceeded to hit a cut when the shot called for a draw.

Get the frick outta here. Comparing Jordan to Tiger is crazy. If Duf doesn't get hurt Spieth might not be on the team.
