I am sure Colorado thought the same thing before they got prison raped by LV.

I was absolutely shocked by this. I would have put money on whoever came out of the Stars-Wild-Avs portion of the bracket. They seemed to me like the best teams going into the playoffs. I didn't think anybody else even stood a chance.

But that's why I don't gamble

I could understand if the Stars-Wild winner played a grueling first round series, then escaped the Avs in another grueling series. They would have been running of fumes against a battle-tested VGK team in the WCF.

However, Colorado had a cake walk in their first round, and dominated the Wild in the second round. I know injuries hampered the Avs, but I legitimately thought they were good enough to easily overcome a hampered roster against anyone in the West outside of the Stars/Wild.

The hockey world should be cheering for the Hurricanes, they’re due.

No.....the Montreal Canadiens are due. The Buffalo Sabres are long overdue.

I don't how any hockey fan that's followed the game for 40+ years can get excited about a Vegas/Carolina finals.

Tampa? Vegas? Carolina? Florida? Colorado?

Man, the 2020's has sucked for the hockey purists.

The Anaheim Mighty Ducks.

Cheesiest franchise in the history of professional sports entertainment.

(although they had a great team in '07)

Time to get this thread back on the front page.

If you would have told me two months ago that the Knights would be in the SCFs under John Tortorella, I would have demanded a drug test but here we are. You'd think that by now, I'd know not to put anything past VGK management.

Hoping for a great series and for my ticker to hold up for it.

Is that a record for quickest score in a finals game?

Not sure about any game in the finals, but I thought I heard him say it was for game 1. Also, first time a goal has been scored on the first shot of a game 1.

Action packed game so far. Hopefully, the whole series will be this entertaining

Karlsson scores. This team is resilient and on fire. Beautiful pass from Marner.
