Dallas dominating the shots and Edmonton just delivered the knockout for today. Nice cherrypick, Buster Hyman.

It's a cruel sport. Sometimes I just laugh and feel like it's all about lucky bounces.

It's hilarious because I am sitting there wondering how the hell the puck didn't go in the net and then its like the puck was a laser guided missle finding its way through traffic to the lone wide open Oilers player infront of the net for an easy score

It’s why they, like baseball, play series’ in hockey. Some days you really play much better than others and the result doesn’t reflect it. You just have to hope that you aren’t on the short end of that equation when your back is against the wall.

If the Stars can find a way to beg, borrow or steal next game, you take your chances in the best of 3 with home ice. Cannot afford to drop both in Edmonton though.

Whelp, when it rains it pours. I thought Dallas did play much better for most of this game than the 6-1 score would indicate.

I think this was just one of those days. The Stars actually played pretty good but had some awful breaks early. Once the lead extended, the Stars had to get overly aggressive to get back in it and it just sort of unraveled.

Stars HAVE to win game 4. If they don’t, it’s over.

Last year I got fricked over and didn’t hear about the party with Lord Stanley’s Cup, this year I’ll barge in and make a good damn scene with it.

Exactly. And even in the periods Dallas has “won” they are mostly just throwing shite at the net into throngs of people and hoping it somehow goes in. Whereas the majority of Edmonton’s goals are clean looks. That’s a reflection of Edmonton playing faster and harder on both ends.

Admittedly I didn’t watch nearly as much regular season hockey as I normally do this year so maybe someone else can chime in. How did Edmonton finish 6th in the west this year?

goaltending skinner is mediocre, but with all the talent they have spent on forwards, they have to go into cup run like this

dallas struggling with Winnipeg told me all i needed to know about them, they were fodder for anyone in next round. And are getting run by a team with a mediocre goalie. Edmonton with their pending rfa's and others needed contracts are basically on a 2 year all in path.

You can’t be World Champ and hoist the Stanley Cup at the same time. Which would you prefer?
