Having read this though, can’t wait to see the Canes get skull fricked by the Panthers…AGAIN. Caps have more of a cup window than the Canes over the next 5 years, believe that. Hopefully see the Canes in the playoffs a few more times over the next few seasons.

I would say the Caps were not a top 5 team this year despite their record
The Canes clutch factor this series did impress me more then years past but they will be judged in the ECF and beyond

Toronto dominated the first. The Panthers seemingly dominated most of the second, but the Leafs had two or three PPs with good chances, although the PPs may have been partial.
