Can we not turn this into a Broncos/Manning Flame fest? There are plenty of other threads for that already

They will improve, doubtful to point of top 10 in league.... Even if they sign Colts players then you better go Pedro and get some chicken and pray to Buddha for health.
There isn't any help with OL left on market, nothing going on secondary, or WR....
Denver played waiting game on Manning like Tennessee and it probably cost them players who could have helped more. Of course you also believe if Champ fades you could just make a trade, because it happens so frequently in NFL?
Not sure what Denver does in draft but they will be going offensive with Manning to get him more playmakers

I only hope Jason La Canfora is kidding about Stokley signing soon...
This was puzzling...
If anything, I think it was leverage used to get Peyton. I guess to surround him with him former teammates and friends. Stokely is getting way up there in age and I thought he was done the years after he left Denver.

Peyton Manning answered one question, choosing to play quarterback for the Broncos next season, multiple sources told ESPN.
But here's another one: Whom are you going to throw the ball to, Peyton? Some might answer Pittsburgh's Mike Wallace.
As I speculated earlier this morning, the one team I would watch going after Wallace is the Broncos. They have the cap room ($40 million before the Manning signing), the late first-round pick (25th overall) and the need for a dependable wide receiver.
The Broncos have a promising playmaker in Demaryius Thomas if he stays healthy, and they can always bring along a Manning favorite in tight end Dallas Clark. But look at the other options -- Eric Decker and Matt Willis -- and you can see why the Broncos might be tempted to go after Wallace. And, if you look at the wide receivers left --Braylon Edwards, Ted Ginn and Early Doucet -- no one will make more of an impact than Wallace.
Of course, the Steelers have the chance to match any offer given to Wallace, a restricted free agent. The deadline to extend offer sheets is April 20.

So what big names are left?
Alex Smith
Curtis Lofton
David Hawthorne
Stephen Tulloch
Those are the ones that come to mind immediately.

Just saw that.
I really hope the Eagles get on Hawthorne. I would say Lofton but Hawthorne should be cheaper.

Yall just traded for Demeco Ryans so hold up on the LB talk
Posted on 3/20/12 at 6:32 pm to wildtigercat93
Whoa really?
eta: Just saw it. I like the move. Good fit in the 4-3. We need a guy who is sound and can tackle. Doesn't need to be a superstar. He fits the bill perfectly.

DeMeco Ryans is a beast and very very durable, for the most part. It's a home run trade for Philly. IMO.

From what I understand, he's not the same player he was before his injury.
