Wtf was that committee head talking about scrubbing teams and not being able to move up seeds based on what seed you started at?
That was one of the weirder interviews I've ever heard, and basically confirms what we've thought for a while that conference tournaments don't matter that much with the committee.

Nah. I would say they probably don't make the Final Four. But they just got a good draw is all I'm saying.
You gotta lay some money on Michigan to come out of the Midwest, IMO.

What a shitty bracket all around. Most games look boring as freak.
South has some potential exciting match-ups in the second round, but the first round games look weak outside a few 7-10 games in my view.

Obviously, you don't follow college basketball. What's KenPom? Really?

At least he asked. Nothing wrong with college basketball picking up more fans who follow it closer.

lol really. Every 5/12 game looks good. Rhode Island Creighton should be great.Vermont and FGCU look very dangerous as lower seeds also.

Also frick the committee for putting us up against a team who just had a near disaster regarding a plane.

True... I promise I looked at that Florida St. vs FGCU
SMC vs VCU
Creighton vs Rhode Island
Possibly Oregon vs Iona... Possibly.
Yea, I stand corrected.. I see plenty of good games lol..
I'm really mad the South is so loaded and Duke and Villanova have the easiest road to hoe towards the elite 8.

Huge surprise. ESPN has decided to interview Calipari and Boeheim.
Posted on 3/12/17 at 6:12 pm to StlPoke
I'm already tired of ESPN complaining about Syracuse not getting in.

I'd take Duke over Baylor today straight money.
South Carolina?
Marquette is the only team that I see that could get Duke before Elite 8..
Villanova ain't losing before Elite 8.

Marquette is a weird team. When they are on, they score like crazy and can beat anyone. But then they have clunkers like in the Big East tournament and against Georgetown last month.
I would be tempted to pick them to beat Duke, but I don't even trust them to get past the Gamecocks.

Very true, but they are the only ones I see that can score more than Duke and give them hell.. Duke isn't a great defensive team whatsoever, but they have guns. You need guns against their guns. Marquette can get hot and beat anyone.
None of the other teams make me wish to pick against Duke. None of them except for that team above them sitting at #1.

Hopefully playing in Greenville means something for South Carolina. Our fans should turn out.
