Nevermind I like being the only lefty in a group. I am not big into Facebook that is why it was weird.

frick Willowdale. 109 this morning. I'll be going back to hit on the range.

I played with "that guy" this morning. Knows I'm taking lessons from the pro but insist on telling me why his way is better. I went from knowing what I was doing wrong to not knowing what the frick was going on at the end of the round

It's pretty well known on this board that I shoot in the 100's

Not everyone can be a scratch player like you

I am only a 12 handicap. I feel like anyone can break 100 with little time though.

I'm going through a swing change and I'm not really good on tight courses at the moment. Played a lot of my shot from under the trees. Didn't chip well. I'm on the right path, just need time

Like you said playing tight courses is tough when going through a swing change. I would try to play the most open, links style course you can find in the area. The only way to get better during a swing change is hitting on the range, and hitting real golf shots in the fairway

I wanted to play an open course today, but my "friends" didn't let me know they were going play until this morning. And I didn't want to risk not playing at all. So I had to play here or take another weekend off. Didn't want to do that

Going to play at 3:30. Hit the ball better late in my round yesterday than I've hit it in the last two weeks so I'm a little excited to play even if it is 150 degrees.

Somehow I figured out that I was gripping the club too tight and my ball flight was so inconsistent. I was either hitting a fade that sometimes sliced or I would play the fade and yank one dead straight that went about 25 yards left of where I wanted it.

It was like a light went off in my head halfway through the round. Had a bogey, two doubles, and a triple on the front for a 45. 42-45 is pretty common for me, but I usually just spread out a bunch of bogeys. Then, I doubled 10 and sent 2 ob and made a 10 on 11, yes a 10, then the revelation. I played the last 7 at 1 over to finish with an 89.

Horrible front 9, 41 back 9. Greens are picking up speed again at Pine Hills. Hit two of the best shots of my life. First was 180 behind a wall of trees, hooded 5 iron, hit before green hopped up and sat down. 40 yard hook that went exactly as I saw it before the shot. Second was my final drive of the day on 18. 544 yard par 5 and I had 182 left. Do I believe the card yardage and think I hit it 362? No...but I knocked the piss out of it.

Oh, when you said oaks wasn't open I rethought you meant open for business, not open layout
