What would lead you to believe they are over valuing Tennessee?

The spread indicates money coming in heavy on Oregon. Not Tennessee. If anything you could say Tennessee is being under valued since the line has changed so much since opening at 20 some places.

Went ahead and added 2* Bama -7 (-120) myself. Saban is so deadly in these revenge games. I think people underestimate Va Tech's D as well....

Bama line will be interesting to watch. Not sure where public will be. Todd Furham said 60/40 on Bama.

If it gets back up to around 10 I might throw A&M in a teaser with something else.

I meant the initial line. Obviously I know the money is pouring in on Oregon like a tsunami of cash

-21.5 for an Oregon team that doesn't seem like it's missing a beat after Kelly leaves against a sub par SEC team (that Oregon smashed in TN in the other game of this series)? Also seems like maybe vegas was baiting people with a "+21.5" line.

Had TN not blown out WKU like they did (which would have happened if not for that fluke run of 5 turnovers nearly in a row), would they be getting more than 21.5 points initially? I think so.

This game being played @ Oregon gives me even more confidence. I think the line that came out was too low and the ducks roll.

Holy God.

WKU had 5 turnovers on 6 plays. Are people over-valuing their (TN) big win? Oregon traveled to UVA and beat the dog poo out of them (and even then on some drives they missed out on 3rd/4th and short).

Now they are at home against a TN team that I have no reason to believe will keep it close.

ETA: When does 5dimes normally post their totals?

Definitely going to tease oregon down. Would not side with Tenn at all.

I can definitely see the Oregon game being a 47-21 type game

I think it's absurdly high now. Tennessee has one of the best olines in the nation.

I'm sure Vegas accounted for the fluke turnovers when setting the line. I think 21-24 is the right line. Butch has the Vols flowing with confidence.

I agree. Which is why I teased it down with Louiville.

Oregon -19.5
Louisville -5.5

A quick question for y'all:

My buddy has a 6 team teaser with only Houston +1 left (other 5 teams have won) to win $160. Should he hedge San Diego for $80 to at least win or should he just roll with?

$160?

No. Not worth hedging for me.

They all look nice...until one of the teams you put in the teaser shits the bed

Only reason I teased these two teams is because I wanted both of them but missed the opening line. By the time I realized the opening lines were out, they had already jumped (the Oregon line especially)

I feel very confident both of these would have been good bets with the opening line, so I don't feel bad about teasing them both. And I feel like I got good numbers for both (especially with a +100 payout)

He's not a big bettor. He usually does a parlay card, and a couple of bets in a weekend. So $160 is a big payout for him. I told him to roll with it, especially since all Houston has to do is win.

Definitely roll with it. I used to hedge a lot, but only when the dollar amounts were much larger. I don't bet like I used to though so it's been a while.

id put $50-75 on San Diego + 3 1/2 and hope to middle them by Houston winning by 1-3 points

The only way SD stays close is if Houston pulls a Giants and has -4+ TO margin.

..but I trust Foster, Tate, etc not to frick up as much as Wilson and co.

I have Houston to finish off a 5 team ML parlay, but judging how the weekend went and the fact that everyone likes them scares me.

I like the idea earlier of a roll it up rather than hurting your odds via Parlay.

Thursday - 1 unit on TCU -3
Friday - Meh, not much I like but if you really want to stick to one I'd take Air Force +23
Saturday 11 am - Louisville -13
Saturday 2:30 Tennessee +28
Satuday 6:30 WKU -10.5

1 unit to win 16. (I'm staying away from the Friday game)
