BSU was clearly better in the trenches, especially their dline vs. your oline.
Maybe in pass protection, but Bishop Sankey ran for 205 yards (and had another 74 receiving). I agree with the rest of your post though. There were some plays that were killers (from a biased perspective). Boise St. converted that 4th and 1 with a few minutes left in the game when they were clearly short and it was never measured for some reason. Also the 40 yard missed FG in the 4th quarter hurt. Along with an easy dropped TD pass by Kasen Williams earlier in the game. A lot of biased scenarios obviously, but a lot of reasons to believe that the game was very winnable. I like our chances at home now with having so many returning starters.
Also, a broken pinkie isn't that big of a deal. He could still easily play if he's not suspended.

It's definitely a very winnable game. That is why I'd never put money on that spread.
I am tempted to put money on +15.5 WSU. Malzahn is installing a new offense (albeit some of the players are used to it) and WSU is returning a lot and they are in the 2nd year of their scheme. I just think Auburn will be rusty.

i'm not 100% convinced that Bama is gonna come out and blow tech out the water, it all depends on the 2ndH.. so that will be # i look at for sure

What do I have to do to get some of that jerky?

I'll remain skeptic of Auburn's defense until they prove otherwise.
I think that WSU +15.5 is easy money honestly. I think AU's offense will be better than most think but it will take the defense longer to change the sorry arse culture that they've displayed the last two years.

The one thing you have to remember about that game is the fact that Wazzu has no tape to game plan from. New systems on both sides of the ball.

i think it's an arse rape

Auburn's defense has tackled poorly over the past two seasons.
just fundamental shite like that can't be ignored. I'm not saying the effort won't be better but it should take a few games to get some confidence back.
just an opinion.

I'll be in Vegas for week 1. Never been. Idk if I want to leave the sports book Saturday. I'm going to be in heaven.
Make sure you arrive no later than 7:45am to whatever book you go to to reserve your seat, unless you want to stand. Make your bets the night before unless you are trying to catch a closing line or you will stand in line for a long time on Saturday.
I prefer the LVH or Mandalay Bay on Saturdays.

Ohio St to win the B1G at -120 looks pretty solid

Meh, I just don't see it.
Another line that caught my eye was Utah -2.5 at home vs Utah St. The Utes dropped their game against State last year and will be looking to right the ship on the 29th. For a school that has been a pretty consistent winner for what seems like the last decade, Utah has been below average since joining the PAC 12. Utah State has had a nice little run the past few years, but Anderson departed for Wisconsin - so expect the Aggies to fall off the map a lot sooner than later. I still think Willingham is a pretty good coach and would bet the 5-7 campaign didn't sit very well with him last year. Utes should cover the opener

frick yes. IN.
Looking forward to a better 2013. 2012 was rough, except that I had a presidential election to keep me on the positive side.
I'm also making the switch to 5dimes this year. Sportsbook was ok, but I can actually get into 5dimes on my work computer.
Like most on here, so far I'm liking Ole Miss. I'd also like to jump on some first half lines of games with good teams vs. crap. Not touching UGA/Clem or the LSU game.

Let's do this!
PS: I wasn't active on TD and the bet threads starting the tail-end of last season for a variety of personal reasons. I hope to contribute again this season.

My man. I was wondering where the hell you went last year.
I'm posted up in Starkville now for grad school.
