You aren't missing anything. He's definitely worse than Capela

I'm very curious to see what kind of money Whiteside gets this summer.

It's a unique situation but Whiteside should definitely get a max contract from someone. He's such a beast but scares me a little since he's crazy and was playing in Lebanon just two years ago

If HOU trade Ariza and Beverly for a Capela level player I wouldn't be happy at all.

Whiteside is getting the max, no question about it

I'd love to see Ariza back in LA. One of my favorite role players ever

According to Marc Spears on Twitter, the Thunder are shopping Serge Ibaka

What is this guy's actual value right now? If you were Boston would you trade Ibaka for the 3rd spot straight up?

Surely, OKC may want more than that though. NBD however because the Celts have a plethora of pics.

You can't agree to that trade quickly enough if you're Boston.

OKC's asking price will be exorbitant.

I'm in the same boat. People are really over valuing both Okafor and Noel in this thread. It will take more than either of them to nab the #3 pick.

Right now, Okafor holds more value than #3

Interesting. I thought it would be asking too much from OKC's perspective.

Personally, I think Ibaka is on the wrong side of 30 and has plateaued in terms of his talent. He is however the prototypical PF that has the size and can play on both sides of the ball.

If they packaged an Avery Bradley OR Jae Crowder w/ the 3rd pick I think that would be highway robbery (think BOS has already said Crowder is not for sale)

Danny is smart enough not to do that. I think. For a young prolific scorer, in a heartbeat. Both of them plus 3. But not Serge.

If Okafor were in this draft, he would be the third best player.

And at this point he's got his rookie season out of the way. He is better than anything a team could draft with #3.

Better right now, I agree. But I think the Cs can get a player with a higher ceiling
