I would be livid if the Lakers traded Russell for anything less than a king's ransom. I think he's going to develop into a star. Russell/Ingram/Randle could be a very, very good young trio to build around
Darrel, what do u think of dlo, #2,#32 for Boogie, I would do it in a heartbeat.
I know it's wishful thinking, but it's a msg board on draft day
Edit I would throw in Randle and his short arm self

I was gonna ask WCAg if he had to trade one of Russell or Clarkson, who would it be and what the haul would be for either? We've been talking about it at work today and the prevailing thought they get Russell Westbrook next free agency class

Noel is a nice grab for Boston, just shows how much leverage they have over the 76ers that they are asking for more than that
Wonder if they will try to get a 3rd team involved that wants to trade a vet or exprirjng for some of Bostons/Phillys pick.

I love Russell and Ingram but you make that trade without hesitation imo.

I don't know why the sixers would want Dunn. Dunn will take the ball out of Simmons' hands. I think Dunn is probably the third best prospect in this draft and he plays great defense, but I think the sixers would be better served with a guy like Hield and potentially get him without having to deal with the Celtics.
Maybe they should look into dealing Noel to the Suns for #4

Russell, because he has a much higher value.

I would trade Clarkson no question. He's nice player but doesn't have near the upside of DLo. Clarkson would be great to have as the 3rd guard if we land Westbrook next year tho

Trading Russell because you "think" Westbrook is coming next offseason is the kind of decision you make that gets you fired.
re: Official 2016 NBA Draft Thread - Draft is completePosted by SoFresh on 6/23/16 at 2:52 pm to TheDarrell McSteal
Why not keep Russell and Ingram and then sign Boogie in 2 years while those two develop?

Getting Russell wouldnt be my reason. Realistically thinking, Clarkson, wouldn't have the trade value of a Russell. Unless you wanted a mid level player in return. Then what's the point of playing the hypothetical

quote:absolutely Jordan over d'Angelo. For as much as I appreciate what Jordan has done the last two years, you can find another one of him. D'Angelo gave you flashes of a perennial all star and he's going to take to what luke is going to bring like a fish does to water. The haul for me to trade d'Angelo would have to be stupid. Like too stupid to even type out

For Jordan I would be open to moving him, our #2, and our #32 for boogie. Or him, and julius, and #32 for boogie. I pretty much like all of our younger pieces so I'm not really looking to move them yet so it would take a big blockbuster trade for me to move any of them, but d'Angelo is practically untouchable in my book

Yeah id rather just keep both since they are cheap and wouldn't effect LA's ability to sign Westbrook.

Or sign Whiteside this year since Miami doesn't own his Bird Rights, then sign GOATbrook next year.
G - Westbrook
G - Russell
F - Ingram
F - Randle
C - Whiteside

I'm very curious to see what kind of money Whiteside gets this summer.

He will get the max from someone

What am I missing with Noel, Admittedly I don't watch much of the 6ers but his
Points/reb/blk/fg% are all worse than Clint Capelas on a PER 36 basis. And I am Not high on Capela.
PER, WS/48, reb%, block% ALL favor Capela.

Danny Ainge is thrilled that he got Chad Ford and Jeff Goodman to convince you of that

That's what I am thinking. No thanks.
