All these edgy mofos saying he's weak.

I feel sorry for the dude. Anyone who follows the NFL and has two brain cells knows the Bengals are cheap. Don't know how he could've gotten out of signing that second contract, but he's screwed and will have a tough time getting back to the SB.

Damn I got Burrow in my FF. Guess I'll have to roll with my backup Penix this year.

How many of your 32,000 posts are about Burrow? You seem oddly fixated on him and how LSU fans feel about him.

Bengals should do him a favor and trade him to Pittsburgh in the offseason

Straight up even trade with Cleveland for Shedeur! Make it happen!

Burrow will always be my GOAT for what he did from 9/2019 - 1/2020, but at this point it is very fair to say he’s not built Ford tough.

His knee injury rookie year would have happened to anyone. OL let him get absolutely shredded.

The calf injury was non contact. The wrist injury that same year was minimal contact.

The injury today, he was clearly under duress but not like a crazy hit.

As a fan, sucks that it doesn’t take much for him to get pretty damn hurt. And playing behind these OLs just exposes him more than a guy like him needs to be.

We could be looking at another Andrew Luck. The Bengals aren't going to improve the oline, so who knows how much longer he lasts. It sucks because he's good for the league

While I agree his OL has been straight butt cheeks since he got into the league…it’s hard to say the severity of these injuries are on the OL. The fact he gets hit as much as he does—that’s the OL. But some of these are not that big of hits, yet they still cause him to miss months.

I mean, dude fell on his wrist in a pretty benign fashion and literally had an injury that an NFL QB has never had. I’d look into his training team as well tbh.

That's fair...but he's taken a beating since coming into the league. How long can his body hold up?

I agree with you there. Bengals team construction is doing him no favors. You pay Chase and let Tee walk. Use that money to sure up the OL. If Burrow has time and is healthy, the drop off between Tee and Iosivas is not worth the price.

3 months is a kick to the nuts. Wonder if they bring in a journeyman for a while.

I'm not a Burrow fan, but people ridiculing him for being out that long with turf toe are idiots. Turf toe forced Jack Lambert to retire. Who's the first one who's going to step up and try to say that carved from granite sumbitch was made of glass and not tough?

Maybe this is a low key sneaky strategy to prolong his career:

1. Get injured often.
2. Less games played; less wear and tear.
3. ????
4. Profit…

Torn toe ligaments sounds absolutely terrible just on a pain focused in one little area sense. I remember Eddie George used to deal with this back in his heyday. Lingering issues that limited his effectiveness and eventually led to surgery. Hope JB gets fully better before he tries to come back.

Turf toe like this ended Jack Lambert's career, a few others as well. The need to be really cautious so this doesn't linger for years.
