USC's schedule last year with both LSU and ND out of conference was stupid, but this year is how it should be. Two directional schools and ND.

Makes things a bit less flexible, but there are some things in CFB that just shouldn't change.

LSU fans wanna complain about scheduling tough opponents while Clemson is scheduling UGA, LSU, SC, & ND.

Clemson needs those games because the ACC is arse

LSU does not need those games

It’s a bit different when those are the only tough games they will play all year.. LSU will still have a tougher schedule without a big OOC game than Clemson in those years.

unfortunately super conferences are going to ruin traditional rivalries. I think eventually the 4 conferences will become separate from the rest of D1 and only play each other.

Clemson has UGA and Okla on the schedule coming up as well. Hopefully, those will still happen.

If y’all duck the return trip to BR I’m going to be pissed.

I'd say history, tradition, and rivalry are pretty big reasons for ND and SC to continue playing.

Over The last 12 years, the NCAA has done about as much damage as possible in destroying history and tradition in college football

The USC/ND contract runs out in 2027 and hasn't been renewed yet, so the timing in that regard is interesting

ND has has had breaks in its rivalries with Michigan State, Purdue, and Michigan. There was about a 40 year stretch where ND played USC, MSU, and Purdue every year if not longer.

USC has the most wins against ND with 38, MSU is second with 29, Purdue has 26 and Michigan has 25.

Why would they cancel? Not something i have seen happen.

We played UGA, TAMU, Auburn recently in home and home. I wish they would do Fla and Tenn. Normally would say Ala but 3xs in the last decade in the playoffs.

clemson did this because they are concerned future SEC opponents UGA and OU will be backing out their future games when SEC moves to 9 conference games and /or SEc / Big 1G reach an agreement on their scheduling alliance. Clemson has always had Scar on its schedule plus 1 other SEC team (aTm, UGa, LSU, Auburn). That’s in danger now. Same for ND losing SC with the Big 1G/SEC arrangement.

Good for both teams. Don't have a problem with it. Great for the fans.

I mean whom would you want to play that isn’t in the power 4? Boise or the service academies?
