Williams is better IMO, or at least I'd want him on my team before Paul. I think that's a better way to say things than just saying he's "better."

Chauncey currently is a better PG, but will not be in a few years. Chauncey took his lumps early on during his career, and in that adversity, he became the most underrated player in the league. He was the heart and soul of those Pistons' teams, and now he single handedly took a team that was embarrassed in the 1st round last year to a title contender (kinda). If I had to win a game, I'm taking Chauncey over Paul as well.

Parker, no. He has some killer offense, but I don't think he's better than Paul offensively or defensively. He has the experience edge, but it's not enough.

Rondo, lol.

Rose, currently, lol.

Yeah...hes gonna do that for a long time because he is very talented...he absolutely destroys 24 other PGs which is great...but his playoff #s are gonna always be way below his regular season #s.

If it werent for facts youd be totally correct

Career Regular Season: 19.4ppg 9.9ast 4.8reb 2.4stl 47%fg

Career Playoffs: 23.7ppg 11.4ast 4.9reb 2.1stl 49.4% fg

you actually make a pretty good case with some actual reasoning......gotta hand it to ya

BTW: I pretty much agree with you.......Paul/Williams/Chauncey are all on the same level with Parker right behind, its just a matter of personal preference as to who you would want on your team

Ya, I think his chronic use of pain pills and champagne has taken a toll on his ability to reason and express logical thoughts

I just roll with Williams as my #1 because of this:

1. Both Williams and Paul are great on offense. Both can pass, both can score. Williams has more explosion toward the basket, though.

2. Both are great defensively, however, Williams has more flexibility due to his size and speed. Also, whenever CP3 and Deron meet each other, Deron is going to get the best of Paul.

The only reason Paul isn't the consensus #1 PG is because of his size and the disadvantage it puts him when comparing him to Deron IMO

Paul at 6'3" + 20 lb > Deron IMO

I still think Paul is a better ball handler and has a higher basketball IQ than Deron, although I guess you can knock paul for those carrying calls and some of the turnovers hes caused in this series

Utah was better with Price at PG last night. DWill might see more time at the 2, that would be a tough backcourt.

DWill can definitely play 2 with his size, just would need to improve is outside game more to be a star at the 2

Dwill/CP are totally different from Chauncey/Parker who are both mostly scorers.

Chauncey and Parker definitely aren't any slouches on defense by no stretch of the imagination.......but I do see your point

DOn't think it would work because Deron is still a PG at heart. I'm not sure they could generate enough offense with two guys trying to set up everyone.

Ya, hes been playing lights out as of late......but he really needs to keep up this level of play throughout a whole season to be considered a top 3 or 4 PG IMO
