Dude Petros is freaking me out.

Hopefully we don't get stuck with Kiffin calling the plays again.

You didn't love our playcalling against UCLA in 06? Who doesn't love draws on every 3rd and 6

I flew back to attend that game. I could not believe how vapid the offense was.
Vanilla doesn't begin to describe it.

Carroll tried to salvage Kiffin's rep after that by giving him credit for the playcalling vs. #3 Michigan in the Rose Bowl. I'm not conviced Lane was pulling the strings in that one.

If we were going to hire a Carroll assistant, just toss a bunch of money at Sark and be done with it

I'd rather have Coach O calling offensive plays than Kiff

There's no excuses for not winning 10/11 games this season with the personnel we have. Any more than 3 losses will have Lane on my shite list.

I'll never forgive Lane for choking away the 06 national title no matter what he does

Chow returning to work under Kiffin never made any sense, anyway

It does if the administration wants to make Lane nothing but a figurehead, which seems to be the case

Granted but it required Chow to swallow his pride and go to work for a man who was one of the main reasons why he was run from USC. I assume Chow, like most coaches, has a healthy ego.

...and isn't UCLA paying him a ton of money, anyway?

I've heard he's making around 600,000. With the UC's financial situation, I can't imagine it would be very popular to be raising tuition 32% and then turn around and pump up your OCs salary

Clearly Lane and Chow HATE each other, but money can solve a lot of things

Yeah. The only way I saw Chow going back there is if USC just offered him an insane amount of money.

Norm mostly seemed like an even tempered guy but you have to wonder if he isn't looking forward to the chance to teabag Kiffin
