Sort of off-topic but does anyone know if the new 49ers stadium in Santa Clara will be up for hosting a Super Bowl? A Super Bowl in the Bay Area would be pretty sweet.

I'm sure they are already working on a bid for a future SB. Most of the new stadiums get a SB soon after opening.

Gotta be Las Vegas. Could you imagine the spectacle of a Super Bowl in Vegas? All the money that would be wagered? The parties and corporate events going on around the game? It would be the biggest thing ever. I can't get over why the NFL plays Super Bowls in Jacksonville and Indianapolis and just leaves Vegas off the table.

Seriously? You don't know why the NFL, and every other major sport, avoids Vegas?
