Don't know why this kid's name keeps coming up here, are why the hate (UncleLester), but Lindsey Scott did what Lindsey has always done. Produce. Hopefully we have a guy this season who will do what scott has done. In a 6 game season:

Scott Ranked 10th in the nation in Passing Yards


Scott finished Top 20 in passing efficiency (was 3rd in the nation before this game)
Had thrown 3ints on the season prior to SELU game

Scott is Tied for 3rd in FCS for Passing TDS with 18

Scott is Ranked #1 in the country for TDS responsible for with 24 (As of the close of the Spring Season)

Scott is 16th in the nation in Rushing yards (lead team with 626 yds and 6 yard rushing average)
Was sacked 6 times in a loss to McNeese, and still netted 137 yards rushing with 291 yards passing and 3tds

Scott is 4th in the nation rushing TDS

Scott is 9th in the nation in total offense

Led a Nicholls offense that is 4th in the nation in total yards (avg 547.5 yds per game)
Nicholls finished second in the country in scoring offense (averaging 48.7 pts per game)

Scott tried to do too much in this game. But, Nicholls has struggled on defense (86th in scoring D, 64th in Total D).

Coach Sceflo had a great game plan. SELU scored 3 times on trick plays, while converting 3 of 4 on 4th downs (two of which, went for TDs). the Advocate

Nicholls has ranked as high as 7th in FCS this season. They will have to take care of defense and O-line issues to be successful.
