He used to frustrate the shite out of me. A big arse dude that played like 215 pound shooting guard.

Paul George has been disappointing. He's a better side kick than a lead guy. Stephenson has been their best player, which is something I thought I'd never say. They need a pg in the worst way. Lowry would make this team legit.

Hibbert seems mentally fragile and Stephenson is good but he's a complete dumbarse.

No, no he hasn't. George leads the Pacers this post season in PPG, Rebs, steals and is like .3 less than Lance in assists. So he basically leads the Pacers in scoring, Rebs, assists, and steals this post season. Besides Hibbert, if anyone has been disappointing this post season, it's Lance. He's actually been worse in the post season than he was in the regular season. And he's had an easier job than PG has this postseason. Lance has had a couple of games this post season where he "disappeared".

So you're telling me you would keep Stephenson over Paul George if you had to choose??

Oh and I most def agree they need a PG so bad. Everyone likes Hill because he's a good guy and all that, but the truth is that he is at the bottom of the barrel out of nba PGs. Better suited as a back up PG. They need someone that can get in the paint and create so bad. And Lowry would make them way better. But I just don't think Toronto let's him go now.

Hoping the Bulls can get him this offseason. Thibs would do wonders for him.

(Of course the Bulls FO are cheap as frick to begin with, so thats probably not happening.)

What?

I'm saying George has been disappointing.

just making sure. Because you responded to my post about who to keep for the Pacers if they blow up the core.

And said Stephenson has been their best player... Even though he hasn't been.

Yeah, that could be really good for Lance. That bulls FO would frustrate the hell out of me if I was a fan. Thibs wins despite their moves.

Stephenson seems like the only one who cares.

No, I wouldn't take Stephenson over George and I think they should let him walk because he isn't worth the money he'll command. George needs to sack up though. He's overmatched but hasn't played with much intensity this series.

His demeanor is like Kevin Durant's IMO.

Durant is an aggressive player though. George needs a true #1 option on his team. He'd be a better 2nd option. Either that, or a pg that's a leader in the mold of Paul, Lowry ect.

I'm not saying he sucks, he's just not the top 5 player people believed he was.

I don't think David West is what's wrong with the Pacers.

Just because he doesn't go crazy and show his emotions like other guys doesn't mean he's not playing with intensity. And it's how George has always played. He plays smooth and in control. Doesn't look like he's playing with intensity, but he is.

He and West are the only 2 guys that have been there for Indiana this post season. Stephenson has disappeared in multiple games, and has an easier task than PG. Hell, look at the Pacers +/- with George on and off the court. Off the court, the Pacers score 88.8, give up 107, with a net of -18.1. With George on the floor, Pacers score 102.6, give up 96.5, with a net of +6.1. That's a 24pt swing for Indiana with George on the floor compared to him off the floor.

I do agree that George needs to get tougher mentally. But he's still a young player with a lot of room to grow, he turned 24 a few weeks ago. Physically, he has pretty much everything you want in a young player. And the mental part comes with getting older and more mature. And with getting more mature, a lot of things happen on the court... Better decisions, smarter with the ball, understanding your opponent, confidence, and you become tougher mentally.

And he needs a PG, just as much as the entire team does. Hes great at moving without eh ball and coming off screens and knocking down those shots. But, they dont have a PG that can make plays so they just put the ball in his hand and hope for the best.

I agree hes not a top 5 player right now. But hes still young with a lot of room to grow, on a dysfunctional team, and going against Lebron. And hes steadily improved each year. He will get better.

Zero chance Paul George's ego would allow him to become second fiddle to someone else after the praise he received this year.

I disagree about the Pacers blowing them up. While they haven't looked great these playoffs, they are one of the last 4 teams left, and are in the Conference finals. What could they possibly trade/add to top a Heat team when they're playing their best? The Heat have been to 3, about to be 4, straight Finals for a reason.

The best move for them would to just get more consistent play out of the players they have. It's easier said than done, but when Hibbert and Stephenson don't completely shite the bad, they're very difficult to beat, even for the Heat.

An upgrade at pg for starters.

really? It took him 3 quarters of the game tonight to get his first point, then watching the dejected look on his face/ awful body language after clanking a free throw sure looked like he was ready for a 3 month vacation, not like someone trying to get into LBJ's head with trash talking.
