No team with David West will ever win a championship

So it was in 2008, so it is now. This pacers team is miserable and should consider blowing up the core. george is a fringe top 20 player... Hill is a below avg pg, hibber sucks... West is a soft punk.

West is their most consistent player, and the only guy in these playoffs who has looked like hes given a damn.

Keep West, trade Hibbert and Stephenson

I agree with blowing up the core. You keep Paul George. But trade Hibbert, Hill, Turner, etc away. Get draft picks, try and move up and take Elfrid Payton.
And yea... West is the complete opposite of soft.
You keep George, West, and I guess Stephenson. He's a toss up and it all depends on what kinda contract he wants. Or keep Turner and trade Lance away. Gotta keep 1 of them though IMO.

I know someone will overpay for Hibbert, but no way would I give up a first rounder for those guys

They need a better PG IMO. They should make a run at Kyle Lowry.

Well t wouldn't be just for the player. And it won't be for a top 15 pick. Package a guy like Hibbert or sign and trade Lance along with some of the Pacers future picks. So Hibbert / Lance + 2nd round pick and future 1st?
And go get Elfrid Payton. Think he's exactly the type of PG they need. Drive, create for others, finish around the rim, etc. Everything Hill doesn't so. And Payton is a good D.
And I'm just spitballing really. That's what I would try and do if I was Indiana.

Yea knew you would like that
Think he's the best pure PG in the draft(I don't consider Marcus Smart / Exum PGs, they are combo guards and primarily a 2guard IMO)
And boxer... It's gonna take a lot to get Lowry away from Toronto now. He was great all year and post season. He and DeRozan are the guys for the Raptors... And they realize that now.

Uh, George and Hibbert's inconsistencies are the problem.

Heat are a very good team. They'll make anyone look bad unfortunately.

All of this. He cries about calls and non calls more than anyone, including Duncan

FIFY. Paul George still contributes in other ways when is shot is off. Hibbert has the best disappearing act in the nba. 7'2 290lbs and can be out rebounded by PGs. Any game where he gets below 6 Rebs is an embarrassment.
And it's not his ability that's the problem. It's his work ethic and playing hard that are the issues. It's like he's done with bball or something. I don't get it.

West used to be soft, and had you posted this a few years ago, I would agree. But, that's not the case now. He has been solid for Indiana. A rock, really.
