No College Football on a Thursday night?

I thought maybe the NFL opening game had an effect last week but this is 2 weeks in a row.
With as many games as they have scheduled I don’t understand why they wouldn’t air at least 1 on Thursday. For as long as I can remember there were at least 2-3. What gives?

Yeah hopefully Thursday night college football starts back soon. I guess they don't want to compete with the beginning of the NFL season.
But I'd much rather watch a crappy Thursday night college football game than a crappy Thursday night NFL game. Which the NFL games almost always are.

I have AT&T and they don’t carry NFL Network so any college football game is a nice alternative

From the general schedule so far and glancing ahead of seems a lot of the better Thursday match ups in college past are the types of games on Friday now which used to be a trash slot. It's the NFL effect finally kicking in

ESPN needs to bring back the Thursday night college game pronto. I can settle on an NFL game if I have to but the NFL network is janky af.

Starting next Thursday College games will be back. I could understand not scheduling one for last week with the NFL Season opener. But for a game on the NFL Network? Meh
