That's ridiculous they can't get the call right after a review

I think his foot came off bag momentarily right before trailing leg touched bag.

Edit: And tag was still on

Unintended consequences of replay. A football catch is never perfect anymore because cameras are so good they show some spinning/imperfection at some point in the process. Same thing on that play. Guy's foot comes off by a c--t hair and that play is probably never intended to be an out, unless they're just deferring to an on-field call.

Such BS.

I hate the NFL.

Now I hate the MLB.

frick these bias calls. Without replay he was safe.

With replay he was safe. Sorry but REPLAY was supposed to help not turn into a way to fix games from some headquarters.

Yeah I'm pissed. I want fair games.

They said the call stands, there is no way the guy who made the call saw the possible millisecond that Span's foot MAY have come off the bag. He clearly his the bag before the tag though. Bad initial call, bad review.

I like that they have replay, but they refuse to overturn calls unless it is beyond blatantly clear that the call should be changed. I'm just not a big fan of the "stick with the call on the field unless there is indisputable evidence" cop out. They should go with the call that seems most correct.

These playoff hats New Era made look so cheesy with the logo on the side. Can't believe MLB let them do that.

Because with my half open eye I saw the throw high and to the way first base side of the bag. Anyone who had experience with this knows the runner sliding gets him under the tag.

It was confirmed by replay.

Incorrectly called on the field, therefore should have been over turned. Simple. I just can't keep buying all the excuses from the HQ.

I agree it looked cleared to me too live that he got under the tag and had to hit the bag before being tagged.

Then the umpire puts extra emphasis in the out call

Im not arguing if the call was right or wrong. It was most likely wrong as you say.

But without replay the call was still out.
