Kaep is just kind of a goof to me who I think didn't know what he was getting into when he started kneeling and is now basically playing a part. Has he finally articulated what he is even supporting or protesting other than some general black oppression?
Not sure why Nike wanted to do this, but I guess they figured they will sell more sneakers to minorities than what they lose in angry white guys.
They should have spent the money to renew a class act like Federer than throw it at this guy.

Looks like my observation was correct for white voters and a tad off for all voters.
It was actually the widest margin since 1980 in people with college degrees voting Clinton. From the link you drew the graph from.
"College graduates backed Clinton by a 9-point margin (52%-43%), while those without a college degree backed Trump 52%-44%. This is by far the widest gap in support among college graduates and non-college graduates in exit polls dating back to 1980. For example, in 2012, there was hardly any difference between the two groups: College graduates backed Obama over Romney by 50%-48%, and those without a college degree also supported Obama 51%-47%."

Federer is boring and doesn’t help them sell a god damn thing. This will help them sell a lot, especially to young people, minorities, left leaning people, etc.
And yea there is a certain degree of “hmmm” to a giant corporation teaming with a social justice protestor to sell things. But here we are.

quote:That's the thing, will this even work? I know more black dudes that think Kap is one of the dumbest dudes on the planet than people that support him. He's a huge hack even in the movement he claims to support. The dumbass didn't even vote.

Remove the politics completely and it's still a dumb campaign. What did he sacrifice? The guy was raised in a rich family, got his college paid for, made the NFL, and now makes millions from Nike purely for existing after performing bad enough to lose his job. Where's the sacrifice? They're making a hack out to be a martyr.

Again, this is why your boycott is silly. You don't understand it because you're not close to being the target market.
Thanks for making my point. The target market for +$100 athletic shoes from Nike is a group that can in no way afford them, but they buy them anyway.

The thing about Clay though is that he says things he KNOWS are lies just to pander to his redneck fanbase. Hes not a stupid guy, he just decided to sell his soul for clicks
I disliked Jemelle Hill since her first day on Espn, but she ain’t on Clays level

Last i heard, Nike claimed there won't be CK shoes or clothing line.
I wonder if NFL had a little talk with them.
Info was from around 4pmish, from Darren Rovell, who is connected, and a moth piece for companies. He shills for anyone

Federer made 65M last year in endorsements, bro. He helps a lot of people sell a lot of stuff.
