It's not the touches you get but what you do with them that count.

Kamara's skillset isn't attuned to him being consistently used as a workhouse but he is one of the most elite per-touch guys in the league. The dude is a top 3 running back year-to-year until proven otherwise.

Lol this is the first year you can even say he was a top five guy and that’s due to an injury to CMAC and Chubb and McCarthy hating rbs.

Tier Two would be:

Kamara

dude averages a TD a game, and is the best receiving back in the league. Ultra efficient, ROY, 3x pro bowl. Will be all pro this year, possibly OPOY. But he is tier two lmao

Again, RBs can catch passes

Particularly in Payton’s offense

Plus, Taysom gets carries from a few positions so it eats into Alvin’s

All that and yet he still has remarkable stats

Kamara’s sweet spot is around 15–18 touches a game.

He's just trolling.

Chubb is probably the best natural runner in the league currently. Just dominant toting the rock.

You frickheads said he was the second coming of Herschel Walker, and how could anyone dispute his heisman candidacy.

I mean in 2015 he did have more yards than Walker's conference record and was only 96 yards behind Henry in yards from scrimmage with 3 fewer games and 87 fewer touches. That year Chubb didn't even lead his own team in rushing

ETA: of course it was all LSU fan hype that's why LF was a top 5 pick, Chubb and Henry were 2nd rounders

quote:

LSU fans have 3 natties in the last 20 years

just have to take this a consolation that Chubb has been better in the pros at a basically irrelevant position

sorry i'm not up on every UGA RB injury

Doesn't change the fact that Fournette a) was great in 2015 and b) was a top 5 pick so it wasn't just LSU fans "hyping" him. or c) that we have 3 titles since 2003 and UGA zero since the Reagan administration

it's not really that hard, you just assume that they all tore their shite up at some point and you'd generally be correct. also you seemed to look up their stats (maybe you know fournettes exact yardage totals years later, but that'd be weird) and it's pretty clear that chubb only played in 6 games (and really only 5 with the injury occurring early in knoxville).

all true

Chubb was averaging 8.0 YPC with five 100 yard game in a row to start the season in 2015

I looked at the 2015 SEC stats to get the actual numbers, I knew Fournette was a lot closer to Henry than people realize and was just under 2000 yds rush also that LSU played 3 fewer games (we had one cancelled and Bama played in the SEC and NC games). In the rushing total Michel was 7th. I did notice Chubb lead the league in ypa didn't really think bout him missing time with injury. We didnt play UGA that year.

These are Nick Chubb’s stats as a starter prior to injury.

He was the best college RB I’ve ever seen before his injury. Not even close.

That's pretty studly, however my point was to defend Fournette not criticize Chubb, it was just a passing comment that he didn't lead UGA in rushing that year which he did not. Had he stayed healthy looks like he would have not just lead UGA but been up there with Henry and LF
