It was a good, competitive series. This game was the only one that wasn't close. I'm excited for the Nashville-Winnipeg series. Should be a good one.

Tonight was a thorough arse kicking by nashville... losing game 5 may end up being a blessing in disguise.
Best sign tonight (other than arvi showing up) was the lack of penalty minutes... 4 total, and two were a bullshite embellishment.

Good call about Darling. How far did the Senators go with the Hamburgler? Did Rask play much in playoffs when Bruins won it all? I don’t remember some of those other backups making a deep run. Capitals haven’t really done much yet, so I wouldn’t rank Holtby that high yet.

Hamburglar went 20-4-1 to get Ottawa in playoffs then went 1-1. Then they replaced him for “experience”

Yeah but at least Murray was a god tier prospect going into that.
AHL Rookie of the Year and Goalie of the Year, 1st team all AHL G, broke the previous shutouts in a season record from 1942 of 10, with 12 shutouts. He was nutty, hence why the Pens immediately got him PT at the NHL level and that paid off quite a bit come playoff time.
That being said, Murray looked like shite yesterday.

Fleury was the number one goaltender and Jeff Zaggert (? I think that was his last name. It was something that started with Z.) was the back up. Fleury got hurt right before the end of the regular season and they called up Murray. Zaggert started the first two games in the first round against the Rangers. After they lost game two they switched to Murray.
