It had been overcast and snow all week leading up to the game. This is literally the first time that the sun came out. Great timing.

Flagstaff is at 7,000 feet, so they get quite a bit of snow / snowstorms.
The Arizona Snow bowl is just outside of the city and a very popular ski area.
Williams has a steam locomotive train that runs multiple daily trips up to the Canyon's South Rim.
Game resumption will be on NBCSN.

I think I’d be way more into hockey if all games were outdoors and only once a week like football.

I didn't think they got much precipitation in the winter, but I guess not. Sounds like an awesome place to travel...in the summer.

NBC is phasing out NBCSN. If they keep the NHL rights, many of their games will likely go to USA Network. I hope to God they don't dump them on Peacock, like they have with Premier League.
Flagstaff summers are awesome. Usually low 80's day, mid 50's nighttime. It's a great weekend trip to escape Vegas summers.

I thought NBCSN was supposed to go off the air at the end of last year? The last time I had cable, it was never in my cable lineup. But I could always get USA. So I won't miss NBCSN at all. I doubt the games will be moved to the other app.
I didn't realize the elevation was that high. If you ever find someplace that is 80 during the day, and 60 at night all year round, be sure to let me know.
We went to Las Vegas and Phoenix a long time ago. It's perfect in the winter. But it's so damn hot in the summer. But I'm not a big city person. So somewhere like Reno, Carson City, Flagstaff, Lake Havasu, or Yuma sounds nice to me. I suppose Henderson and Summerlin are close enough to Las Vegas that it is a pain to drive in?
Bullhead City and Mesquite are far enough away to avoid all the big city headaches?

What the heck is going on in this Habs/Leafs game? I swear I had it on just a few minutes ago and Matthews hit a sweet one-timer to make it 1-0. It's 3-2.

I'm also mostly watching Pens/Isles on NHLN. The tributes to Sid for his 1,000th game have been cool. I especially enjoyed Fleury and Ovi.
