That whistle had no effect on the play. The whistle was blown a spit second before the WR caught it (who was wide open). I say this as I’m pulling for the Raiders.

At least in this case the whistle was irrelevant. He was wide open and as soon as he had possession it was a TD.

Had it been a play in the open field I’d have some sympathy for LV.

How are they arguing the whistle caused guys to stop in the play? The ball was about a foot from the receiver's hands when it was blown.

Maybe the whistle was a fan or something? Glad it played out as it did. Would be highway robbery to take a TD off the board due to referee incompetence. They already have too much influence as is

Same as a fumble. Should’ve been a replayed down. I wouldn’t say the Bengals got lucky, because he was clearly inbounds when he threw the ball. I guess the best answer is ball don’t lie. It should’ve been a touchdown and it was.
