Agreed. I'm really impressed that he's gutting this out even if he isn't playing well. His team needs him in there and he's in there.

He had three pins put in the thumb of his throwing hand less than two weeks ago. He isn't the best in the league but saying he sucks because he isn't playing well today is just being a dick.
Every time he takes a snap, the ball is being forced into his broken thumb. Also, it isn't like they can give him a shot in his throwing hand because he needs to be able to feel the ball.

I love the narrative. When Seattle lets teams hang around and does just enough to win in the 4th quarter they know how to win close games. When Kansas City lets teams hang around and does just enough to win in the 4th quarter they aren't playing up to their ability.
