Usually when a team is outgained by 100+ and a yard or more per play in the nfl it is a pretty strong indicator that the outgained team is not good

You know what else is an indicator that a team is not good?

Being on the losing end of the score.

Jacksonville had 5 turnovers this weekend; the Chargers had none. Who's playing Kansas City next week again?

This is playoff football. The only stat that means anything is the score. Nobody gives a damn about yards.

Crazy play but kind of egregious to not call the block in the back on Andrews

It clearly was. Officials were letting a lot go though.

Both Huntley and Burrow got hits out of bounds that we’ve seen called.

i believe josh allen is winless on the road, but undefeated at home in the playoffs.

He had also only thrown 1 INT in the playoffs before yesterday. All streaks die at some point.

And the Bengals are 4-1 in the Playoffs with Burrow. Burrow has as many playoff wins in his first 2 appearances as Allen does in his first 4.

This should be a good game regardless of the outcome.

The thing with block in the back to remember and why he didn’t call it.

You can engage with someone’s side and if the block ends up resulting in the player getting past the player being blocked and into his back then it’s not block in the back . It’s only block in the back if you engage the block into his back.

The reason it looked like a block in the back was because the blocked player was outrunning the player that blocked him.

I learned this rule last night lol

Rule or not, there was no way in hell the refs were calling that on that play.

The Ravens played a great game last night. One fluke play changed the game.

Harbaugh mismanaged the clock at the end. He mentioned in the postgame that they were trying to score with as little time left on the clock as possible. You just can’t afford to get cute when losing late in the game. Score when you have the chance, or take shots when you can. I’m don’t understand why he would have been scared to give the ball back to the Bengals in the last minute. The Ravens 4 man pass rush against the patchwork Bengal offensive line wasn’t going to allow Burrow anything more than a 6-7 yard pass and the Ravens could drop everyone Into the passing lanes.

I really did not think the Ravens had much of a chance going into the game, so they certainly surprised me. No moral victories, but I was glad to see them fight and give the Bengals a good game.

i don't understand why people keep saying that. The last 3 Bengals drives, they ran up the middle on 1st down and then 2/3 of those drives called a 1 yard pass on 2nd down. On that 3rd drive, Burrow actually delivered a slightly high pass to Chase down field like 15 yards that Chase dropped. There wasn't much indication that the pass rush was any better or worse later in the game than earlier. The Bengals just completely changed their game plan to not even attempt to throw the ball over the middle of the field or down field.

Yes, you try to run the ball when you have the lead. The Bengals could find a little room on 1st and 10, but they struggled badly in running in short yardage situations (3rd and 3 or less).

Wouldn’t really call that a drop. Did he get his hands on it, yes. But a linebacker was in the throwing lane and Burrow tried to thread a needle.

The Bengals were forced to change their game plan due to the PASS RUSH. 4 sacks. Several hurries. The Ravens sat with two deep safeties all game and if you just try to three step drop and air out a deep go route the safeties will be there to pick it off. If you can get some pass protection, you can get two or three routes to move the safeties around and find an opening. But that ain’t happened when you have to throw the ball in less than 2.5 seconds and that’s what Burrow had to do.

I think the Boys might actually be ahead in the coaching matchup.
