I don't understand how if Darnold is having 3-4 seconds routinely why they can't sent Addison and JJ on go routes and just put it up.

Yes Darnold is off, but Aaron Glenn is putting on a clinic. He’s getting pressure while single covering Hockinson with LBs or safeties. This lets them bracket the 2 WRs and Darnold can’t do anything but check it down. If they’d weren’t able to single cover Hockinson, it would open up the WRs to some single coverage.

Supposed to be a great matchup. Battle for the #1 seed between two of the top offenses in the leage, and division rivals to top it off on the final Sunday of the regular season, and instead we get.. this.

The depleted 49ers shredded these guys last week. No excuse for one of the most loaded offenses in the NFL to score 9 frickin points.
