So, once again, my assertion that the shotgun is an absolutely idiotic offensive set gets validated. You set the QB so deep for the snap it straightens the angle for an edge rusher to beat the OT. An edge rusher, mind you, that is facing forward down in a sprinter's stance while the OT is on his heels moving backward.
