Can someone explain how a ball that never touches the ground and stays within a receivers hands can be called incomplete

I don't think it was an easy call but I do think they got it right. I thought the official in the back left hand corner of the end zone waved it incomplete to begin with.

Because it was never in his hands until after he was on the ground. It is spinning and moving and he doesn’t have it in his control. Easy call.

Get a Honda so you don't end up like Donte Stallworth.

He had a hand on the ball all the way through it. You can’t say he absolutely had zero control. Ball will move if he is tucking it to his body. You can essentially say every catch is incomplete because a hand moves the ball.

It was a horrible call

I mean easy after clearly seeing it upon review. Not easy in real time.

And you’re right, he definitely called it incomplete initially.

Ravens getting outplayed by the Browns at home.

At least, those first two weeks were fun.

Nah. It was moving without him making it move. He wasn't controlling it.

Like I said, it could have stood imo, simply because he doesn't lose it either, but it's understandable.

He didn’t though. One angle showed the ball literally not touching either of his hands nor his body. And the ball was turning...it wasn’t moving from being tucked away.

Agree. That’s why they overturned it.
