Among pro gamblers it's accepted wisdom to look at West Coast teams having to play the early game on the East Coast as being at a disadvantage.

The NFL is trying to make it so west coast teams get to play a 4pm on the east. Also Seattle has big advantage when people go out there to play, its basiclly cut off from the rest of the country

Miles coaches a team of college kids, not pro athletes. Seattle does not travel to New Orleans 8 times a year. SF and Az (most of the time) are in the same time zone as Seattle.
Yeah but with Seattle, just about any other game they play is across the freaking country. At best case, they only travel half the country.
This year they play away:
St. Louis
Arizona
San Fransisco...
Indianpolis
Dallas
Minnesota
Houston
Wisconsin
All of those are pretty long flights.

I'm not saying there is a better plan or its not by design... i'm just looking at things how they are and looking at who has the biggest travel disadvantage in the league year after year.
thats cool, there are only a couple of changes you'd have to make to make it more geographicly logical (indy to the north, balt to the east, mia to the south in the afc, car to the east, dallas to the south in the nfc) but the only ones that make no sense are Dallas and Indy.

The NFC west used to have teams in:
NO
Atlanta
St Louis
That was awesome.

I wasnt sure if Carolina was in the old NFC West.
Looked it up. They were.
That was a fricked up division.
