Good, he deserved it. Can't remember that last time I've seen a guy that out of control on a football field. No excuses for that either, although lots of people are trying to make them.
Part of Norman's game is being a giant douche and getting into the head of the opponents. He does that to pretty much everyone he faces. Beckham just isn't mentally prepared to handle that at this point in his career.

Andre Johnson for one.
There have been ~20 players suspended for illegal hits. I don't know how many of them were first time offenders.
Johnson took a swing and Beckham used his head. Nearly the same thing, and Beckham's action was even more violent.

I guess we didn't watch the same game.
Glad to see the league did something about it. 1 game seems pretty reasonable. And if the rumors about Norman with the bat and threats are true then Beckham is within his rights to file charges against him.

Basically a Hines Ward style crack back block. It would have still been dirty af but I'm pretty convinced that's what he was going for after I saw the full replay of the play from the skycam view. My only point is that had he hit him the way he was trying to hit him I don't think this thing gets nearly the reaction it does, although he still may have been suspended for the culmination of all the penalties since the refs screwed up by not tossing him out the game.

Just looked it up Johnson wasn't suspended, just fined.
You might be right about first time offenders. Most of the guys on the suspended list was thugs POS.

Johnson was fighting, Beckham's hit, while highly illegal was still a hit within the game
