Surviving Philip Rivers should get you a bye week. I think he eliminated me in some way the last three years. I'll never pick him or against him ever again. I felt more comfortable with the Lions this week.

I wanted to take Miami this week since this is pretty much the only week to take Miami and it would have saved Baltimore which has a ton of end of the season value. Oh freakin well.

Plus most teams have their byes over the next few weeks. I just noticed Washington, Houston, and Jacksonville all have byes in two weeks. That’s three candidates to pick against that will be unavailable, even if all the other games get played.
The Bengals are a team I want to avoid picking against because they are showing a little life. They have a stretch of games against the NFC East starting in a few weeks. They’ve already tied the Eagles. You’d probably take them over Wash and NYG, but pick Dallas.
I’d hate to be in a position where I had to pick any of those games
