Cleveland may be a better team with McCown in at QB.
I think the safe play this week in New England in their home opener vs a divisional opponent.

Nearly would have had an even split of MIA would have held on. Good luck folks.

No matter what you'll have to get cute with your picks. You can pick the easy games now or later, eventually you'll have to pick between middling teams.

My only issue with that is what happens when you don't like ANY of your available picks later in the year and you can't fall back on Seattle or Carolina? It's why I try to save the better teams and pick iffy early. I know it's dumb to try to get cute with your picks, but I can't help it.
there is no "later in the season" if you lose week 2. Then you left weeks on the board.

I would rather get to a point where you have to make tough decision on middling teams games. It will sting more if you have an elite team not picked because you tried to get cute with your picks.

I didn't know Andy Dalton was sacked 7 times in that game.. holy crap! Pretty impressive to win on the road regardless most of the time.
but had you told me he would get sacked 7 times ahead of time I would have picked the Jets.

Baltimore only scored 13 points in their first game and they're on the road. I know it's Cleveland but I'm not completely sold on Baltimore. Week 2 is rough. Carolina and seattle are probably going to be the most picked.

Can you imagine if Carolina loses this week? At least half would be eliminated.

Sea (burnt wk 1)
Wk 2 :
Down to these 4 for me. Pitt, Zona, NE, Det
Probably going with Pats because Miami playing back to back road games on opposite sides of the country is tough. Think Pats will win big.

This is true. But, a few years back, I finished 3rd or 4th in the survivor. Lost on the last week on a team that was favored by 6. I lived that entire season with one thought. In order to win, you have to get to next week. Don't hold back. You never know what will happen down the road. Trying to save teams has put me out the last two years. No more of that.
