RG3 is a slightly above average runner. so saying Tannehill is better isn't really that big a deal

If Tannehill gets drafted before the 3rd day, Bill Polian should be fired again, and from his next job as soon as he accepts it.

That's crazy. The only knock I have heard that is legit on RG3 is his frame isn't very big. Can he sustain the pounding NFL qb's get?

Both are really smart. Tannehill had a 3.8 or something as a Biomed major I believe. He will run a 4.55 tops, he's a good athlete but nowhere near the same level as some of the guys he was mentioned with. I think he'd be a great 3rd round pick, but he's going to go much higher than that and probably be thrown into a starting role which is too bad because he's not ready. As far as the leadership stuff, he didn't show any of that while he was at A&M considering the meltdowns his team, especially the offensive, encountered in the second half.

What? Ryan Tannehill is projected to go in the first round by many people. He's a lock to go in the first day. Also, even the most epic first round busts such as Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf threw over 600 career passes. There's no way Tannehill will throw fewer than 100 passes in the NFL unless he suffers a serious career-ending injury early on in his career.

That doesn't make his opinion correct. But, if you are trying to make the case that the guy doesn't have credibility because he was just fired from Indianapolis, you are making a very weak point.

I could be very wrong about Tannehill but from seeing him in person and the others on TV multiples times Tannehill is not the same caliber as Luck or Griffin. It's not like he's as bad a decision maker as Jordan Jefferson, and he's got size and speed. I don't like the ball he throws, he didn't appear to NFL accurate, meaning throwing his WR open, or pinpointing in tight windows.
I think he'll get laid out against NFL defenses, or he'll overthink so much he won't be able to beat guys out to start. Just not the player I'd mortgage the franchise on.
