2 of the 4 major sports don’t play in any of that ever. Put a lid on the stadium and keep the game moving. The outcome should be decided by the players, not Mother Nature. If you want to watch weather then turn on the Weather Channel or go outside.

All NFL stadiums should have a retractable roof.

If you don’t want to use it fine, but when weather gets bad close the roof.

In this day and age with the billions of dollars involved, there is simply no excuse for weather delays in the NFL.

I played in wind, rain, mud with lightning. My game did get delayed. I slid under a fence and had the fire department cut me out. Hospital removed the cut away fence still in my leg. Cool scar.

The worst part about this delay is that it's been a damn good game.

Given it's a Thursday night, some fans might leave, but the ones who stay will be imbibing and rowdier than before.

The timing of the delay benefits Dallas since there was a big fumble recovery by the Eagles just before the delay - kills that momentum.

The entire storm went north of the stadium. Missed it entirely.

Let's play some football!

Dak has looked surprisingly good and showing a ton of hustle too. I’m impressed.

Did the teams eat cheesesteaks during the delay?

God almighty himself saw the fumble and called a much needed timeout for his team.
