God this is easily the worst rule in football. Should just be ruled down at the one in this case for Browns.

Doesn’t it come back to the spot of the fumble in every other scenario?

Nice that the refs missed the helmet to helmet spear on that play
I came to ask whats the ruling on that? Since he bacame a runner and lowered his head first does it become legal then?

About half a yard away from a TD. Sad.

Also, yes, that’s the worst most illogical rule in sports
If the player fumbles it one yard backwards Browns still have the ball, instead, for getting even further into KCs territory before fumbling, KC is now rewarded with the ball at the 20. Makes sense

I don't mind the rule
the endzone is a special place, don't fumble it there

I mean. What’s the alternative on a fumble through the EZ that isn’t recovered by the offensive team? They should as frick don’t deserve it anywhere near the goal line.

What do you get about it? It’s illogical.
I get the whole idea of rules being very different at the goal line.
Still think it’s asinine though.

Yes, which is why the rule is stupid

That guy's arms nor shoulder even remotely got involved in that tackle.

Targeting is not a rule in the NFL.
Can't touch a QB, but you can use your head to spear another player.

Why should fumbling in the end zone count as an automatic TO when fumbling out of bounds isn’t? I think the rule should be changed where the offense gets the ball but it backs them up to a certain yard line or something.

Why not?
It it goes out 3 feet earlier they get it st the spot of the fumble.
