NFL Covid Fines

The NFL fined head coaches for Denver, SF, and Sea $100K each and their teams an additional $250K for not wearing a mask during the game.
Just heard it on MNF.
ETA: now CSP and Gruden are added to the list of fines.

They'll fine coaches for not wearing mask, but will put cranes on the sidelines for players to run into. Genius.

They NFL better donate that to something worthwhile like feeding the hungry or some kind of small business grants. Educating kids something.

That's why I asked yesterday in a thread is the NFL mandating masks? Because some coaches had them on and some coaches were totally half-assing it.
Pete Carroll wore a mask around his neck the entire game while BB had it on the entire game.
Josh McDaniels had it around his neck.
And even coaches who wore them over their mouth and nose repeatedly took them off to talk to players.
This is so arbitrary...how do you decide who is covering up when even the ones covering up are constantly taking them off to talk to players...and then when they are alone on the sideline, they put it back on.

In the referee huddle discussing a penalty, they all took their masks down to talk to each other, 12 inches away from each other’s faces. When they broke the huddle they all put their masks back on to go back to standing 10 yards from anyone. Players on the bench not wearing masks. Players in a scrum fighting for a fumble, no masks. Yet a coach talking into a headset gets fined $100k. Madness

These coaches are all tested the day before for covid, stay isolated, and turn up negative. The requirement to wear a mask is asinine. I wonder if teams are going to tell the NFL to frick themselves.
